My class’s book discussion blog

Filed under: Uncategorized — scrollman @ 7:08 am

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a book discussion blog that I started with my students a little over a month ago.  Please feel free to post comments there if you wish.  I think my students would really get a kick out of graduate students engaging in serious discourse with them. You’ll notice that the books are very familiar.

  1. Wonderful Jon. I think your students would rather hear from your classmates than from me. But I do plan to comment. Do students check their comments? KES

  5. Jon,

I also enjoyed your blog, and included my own comment amongst the book sharing. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to witness student discussion on these books.

  6. Jon,
I just posted about Tyrell. I think it is so awesome that your students are reading many of the texts that we are reading this semester! What else do they plan on reading?
