Hi Everybody,

I was searching the web for blogs on Ya lit and I came across a pretty good one by someone named yalibrarian.  There are some good reviews on here, as well as a Wiki.  Toward the middle of the page there’s a post called Alt Teen Services on Twitter  Although I haven’t used Twitter myself (click here to read more about the service), it seems like a great way to share information.   I think some of these new technologies provide tremendous opportunities for students to communicate their thoughts and opinions about books to a larger audience.  Let me know what you think.

  1. Jonathan,
Looks good! Its harder to find YA blogs than I thought, or maybe I’m just not looking correctly!
I found one, though, which I thought was a little different. Here is a blog that discusses a range of topics http://writingnwords.blogspot.com/ but they generally relate to teens and teen reading. I guess this one appealed to me because it had a slightly broader scope. Let me know if you agree!

  4. I’m teasing Jess!! But Twitter is hot. Check it out. It doesn’t have anything to do with YA Lit…it’s a social networking site. KES

  5. Jonathan,
This blog looks great. I’m actually going to go right back to it and do some more investigating. Thanks for directing us to it.
