YA Websites

Filed under: Resources to Share — Mandy @ 5:31 pm

I am also searching for useful young adult websites and I have found several. Check out this one that I found while using google! I think it is a great collection of must read YA titles because it has some of the “classics”, but also many new authors as well.

I also found this site which is awesome, despite the raunchy title! Every month the creator of this site picks an author or a general theme and recommends various titles, along with descriptions of various books. I am surprised to have found so many titles I have never heard of while browsing. I need to get reading!

Here is another useful site that offers additional links and information for young adult books.

And finally this site with a HUGE list of potential ya titles to read.

 Enjoy

  2. It’s amazing how much is out there, isn’t it? Nice to see some older titles. I wonder about the “shelf life” of YA Lit. What makes a book obsolete to YA readers today? What makes a book appealing?

  3. Great links, Mandy! I’m going to have to spend some time checking them out more thouroughly. Sarah, I have recently been thinking about teh “shelf life” of YA Lit. I am always worried that books won’t be appealing for long and I’ll have to continually start over to build a library for my kids instead of adding more and more to what I have!
